On September 15, 2021, NFC and Eurasian Resources Group (ERG) signed the EPC contract for the Shubarkol Semi-coke Project in Kazakhstan. The project is located in Shubalkeri Town, Karaganda Region, Kazakhstan, with an annual output of 400,000 t semi-coke. The contract covers the design, procurement, construction, commissioning and index testing, with a duration of 22 months. This Project is the eighth project undertaken by NFC in Kazakhstan, and it is also a new chapter of win-win cooperation with ERG under the "Belt and Road Initiative" after the Congo (DRC) RTR Project.
