In February 2016, NFC and NYDRO signed a supply contract for electrolytic cell and aluminum bus in the Phase-I Project, and in July 2016, NFC and HMR GROUP, the NYDRO installation subcontractor, signed a supply contract for flexible aluminum tape and soldering block. In January 2017, all the contract equipment was received at the project site and was successfully delivered. In the Project, European standards were adopted from the design to the supply and construction, and it is the first engineering project undertaken by NFC in the Nordic countries.
