The Dak Nong Aluminum Smelter Plant Project in Vietnam officially commenced construction in June 2025, with a contract value of USD 572 million (approximately RMB 4.2 billion) and a contract duration of 40 months. Located in the Nhan Co Industrial Park, Dak Nong Province, the project is planned for three phases with a total designed capacity of 450,000 tonnes of primary aluminum per year. NFC serves as the EPC contractor, undertaking the full scope of work including design, equipment procurement, construction and installation, commissioning, performance testing, and operational training. The construction covers the electrolysis system, power system, auxiliary facilities, and supporting infrastructure. Upon completion, the project will significantly enhance the aluminum industry development capacity in central Vietnam and drive regional industrialization.
