Qin Junman Attended the China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo

On June 27^th, the first China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo was grandly opened in Changsha. Qin Junman, Chairman of NFC, participated in the Expo with the delegation of China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group)Co., Ltd(CNMC) and was invited to attend the China-Africa Infrastructure and Financing Cooperation Dialogue and 2019 China-Africa Private Sector Cooperation Forum, and other related economic and trade promotion events.

At the 2019 China-Africa Private Sector Cooperation Forum On June 28^th, Chairman Qin, on behalf of NFC, signed an agreement with Eloft Group and Sany Heavy Industry Co., Ltd.(SANY) on the Guinea Telimele bauxite mining and logistics integration project. NFC signed the contract agreement for ER Telimele mine and auxiliary facilities project in Guinea on April 25^th.

During the Expo, Chairman Qin accompanied the Guinean project owner to visit the exhibition of CNMC. Understanding the work done by CNMC in Africa, the owner affirmed the achievements of CNMC and expressed their interests to cooperate. After the Expo, at the invitation of SANY, Chairman Qin visited and inspected the Changsha Industrial Park of SANY and held in-depth talks with Mr. Xiang Wenbo, President of SANY. They reached an agreement on the future cooperation methods and fields.

With the theme of “Win-win Cooperation for Closer China-Africa Economic and Trade Partnership”, this year’s Expo focused on trade,agriculture, investment and financing, industrial parks and infrastructure and other fields. It held 14 events and an exhibition to discuss new path and measure for China-Africa cooperation. 53 African countries participated in the first China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo.
