On October 12th, NFC President Wang Hongqian attended the sixth meeting of the 7th Council of the China International Contractors Association (CHINCA) in Beijing. Ministerial Leaders from China's  Ministry of Commerce, National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) and other more than 30 part-time vice-chairman leaders attended the meeting.

In the discussion session of the meeting, President Wang Hongqian, introduced the achievements NFC made in conducting business along the route of "Belt and Road" and in Africa, as well as the experience of international capacity cooperation with Africa. He proposed that the cooperation with Africa should be pursued in a sustainable manner and called for focus on the integrated project of investment, construction and operation. Taking the NFC& KAZ Mineral project as example, President Wang Hongqian advocated a mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation model and suggested CHINCA take the lead to set up a think-tank composed of experts, enterprises and financial institutions to serve the “going global” enterprises.
