Mr. Qin Junman, Executive Vice President of NFC, was invited to hold talks with Kasymbek, the Minister of Investment and Development of Kazakhstan, at the Kazakh Embassy in China on Nov. 12th 2018. The two sides had a candid and pragmatic exchange of views on the cooperation between China and Kazakhstan in business development, especially in the field of mining investment.

Mr. Qin Junman briefly introduced the achievements NFC made in the field of project construction and investment in Kazakhstan. He said that NFC has always attached great importance to the Kazakh market, and that with two subsidiaries in Kazakhstan, NFC will, as always, promote China-Kazakhstan cooperation in capacity building and in the field of mining under the principle of "friendly cooperation and mutual benefit” and the rule of law of Kazakhstan.

Minister Kasymbek expressed his high appreciation for the six cooperation projects built by NFC in Kazakhstan, especially the Aluminum Smelter in Pavlodar, Bozshacol Copper Concentrate Plant and Aktogay Copper Concentrate Plant. He promised continued support and help to every one of NFC’s future project in Kazakhstan. At the same time, he will coordinate the relevant Ministries of Kazakhstan to see to the matter of visa approval for Chinese workers and qualification certification.
