On Sept. 20, NFC president Wang Hongqian met with the Argentinean governmental delegation led by Undersecretary of Mining Development Mario O. Capello and Ambassador to China Diego Ramiro Guelar.

Besides expressing gratitude for Argentinean government’s high attention paid on NFC and introducing NFC’s business, Mr. Wang high-lighted the positive influence of Belt and Road initiative on countries along the routes and opportunities it brings to Latin American countries, extending NFC’s will of cooperating with Argentinean nonferrous metal companies. Undersecretary Capello updated Argentinean government’s latest mining policies, which prioritizing developing mining industry as state policy, proactively cooperating with investors globally, training skilled workers, and building Argentina into a mining power like Peru and Chile.
