On August 29, NFC hosted Laotian governmental delegation led by Mr. Inthavong Thongphat, deputy minister of Energy and Mining. NFC president Wang Hongqian introduced NFC’s two main businesses divided into four sectors, complete industrial chain, 3 decades of overseas development and major large-scale projects undertaken in recent years.
　　
Mr. Thongphat shared the information of Laotian government’s policy adjustment on mineral  resources investment. The government would regulate the investment market, retain government’s rights to hold mining projects’ equity, and issue licenses and permits to competent large enterprises. The government would provide solid support to secure the rights of model enterprises like NFC and hope NFC to continue its bauxite project development in Laos.
 
Mr. Wang hopes that both parties will make the best of the momentum brought to China’s neighbors by Belt and Road Initiative to promote bauxite project development in Laos. He also expressed his gratitude to Energy and Mining Ministry and Mr. Thongphat for their high attention paid to NFC’s development in Laos.
