On September 29, 2016, Vietnam National Coal-Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Ltd. (VINACOMIN) delegation led by vice-president Nguyen Van Bien visited NFC.

NFC president Wang Hongqian reviewed Vietnam Sin Quyen Copper Complex Project undertaken by NFC for VINACOMIN Minerals Holding Corporation (VIMICO) in 2005, introduced NFC’s core businesses, and promised NFC’s commitment in Lao Cai Copper Smelting Plant Expansion Project of mobilizing best management team and providing quality service. Mr. Wang believes that NFC and VINACOMIN are highly complementary. As one of the major south-eastern Asian countries, Vietnam has a great potential in non-ferrous metal market with its 90 million people. NFC has become an international engineering contractor and mineral resource investor with global fame after 30-year’s development. NFC is looking forward to further cooperation with VINACOMIN on EPC contracting and resource development.

Mr. Nguyen said he was deeply impressed by NFC’s achievements and comprehensive capabilities overseas. NFC’s Sin Quyen Copper Complex Project is regarded as a model project in Vietnamese non-ferrous metal industry. With such a solid foundation, VINACOMIN is confident to promote further cooperation on expansion project. Playing the leading role in Vietnamese mining industry, VINACOMIN has solid financial strength and abundant reserves of coal, alumina, zinc-lead and iron. By this visit, VINACOMIN understands its partner better and is looking forward to further in-depth cooperation with NFC in coal and non-ferrous metal industries.
