KAS aluminium smelter anode baking furnace project undertaken by NFC was successfully completed on Oct. 21st, 2011. This is a sub-contract project of KAS prebaked carbon anode plant constructed by German EPC contractor Riedhammer. NFC signed the sub-contract of anode baking furnace construction with Riedhammer on Apr. 5th, 2011 in Beijing. The design capacity of the open-top furnace is 150,000t/a with the total materials weight of 14,400 tons. According to Riedhammer, this sub-contract project was originally planned to use 200 technical workers with a construction period of 8 months.
