At the invitation from Saudi Arabia, Mr. Qin Junman, NFC vice-president, attended the foundation stone laying ceremony for Jizan Free Zone, and for an alumina refinery and an aluminum smelter to be built in the area on November 4, 2006.  His Majesty King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia attended the ceremony and laid the foundation stones.
