On May 28, 2025, TSAIRT Mineral held a completion acceptance meeting and handover ceremony for the Deep Extension Project at the Tumurtiin Ovoo Zinc Mine.

At the meeting, the project team from NFC presented a comprehensive report on project lifecycle management and quality control. Independent assessments, including the Engineering Quality Evaluation Report and the Design Standards Compliance Report, were reviewed by the joint acceptance committee. Following deliberation, all parties signed the official project completion and acceptance documents.

The Mongolian General Manager of TSAIRT Mineral remarked that since the project’s inception, TSAIRT Mineral, NFC’s project team, and other partners had overcome technical challenges by self-innovation, ensured precise rock excavation, and maintained rigorous safety and quality standards. These efforts secured both safe production and resource continuity, establishing the Tumurtiin Ovoo Zinc Mine as a benchmark for underground mining operations in Mongolia.
