On May 26, 2025, a delegation led by Mr. Seitzhan Serikzhan, President of KazakSouth Oill Group, visited NFC to hold in-depth discussions on advancing future cooperation.

Mr. Liu Yu, Vice President of CNMC and Chairman of NFC, extended a warm welcome to President Seitzhan Serikzhan and his delegation. He emphasized that Kazakhstan has long been regarded as a strategic overseas market by CNMC and NFC. Over the years, NFC has been deeply engaged in the construction of nonferrous metal projects in Kazakhstan, achieving fruitful results. Mr. Liu Yu stressed that NFC always upholds the principles of sincerity, integrity, mutual understanding, trust, reciprocity, and win–win cooperation, and is committed to establishing comprehensive partnerships with leading enterprises in Kazakhstan. He expressed hope that the two sides would continue close communication and further explore broader cooperation opportunities in the nonferrous metals sector.

President Seitzhan Serikzhan expressed his sincere appreciation for the warm reception and praised the strong capabilities of CNMC and NFC, highlighting their wide business scope, diverse range of nonferrous metals, and comprehensive industrial, technological, and support chains.
