On July 12, 2024, the VCM Shaft Project undertaken by NFC in Kazakhstan passed the final inspection and achieved project completion, marking another important milestone in the company’s project performance in Kazakhstan.

Local government official said that the successful delivery of this project not only strengthens the infrastructure capacity of the Artemyevsky Mine, but also creates new opportunities for local economic development and employment.

At the same time, the owner highly recognized the quality of the project’s facilities and shaft construction. The mine director emphasized that this project is the only mine shaft completed in Kazakhstan over the past decade. With a total of 1,834 accident-free days, it has set a new record for safe mine construction in Kazakhstan.
