At 12:29 p.m. on September 23, 2024, following the official launch of the AMIN Copper Smelter Project announced by the President of Indonesia, the flash smelting furnace of the project was successfully ignited on the first attempt. Representatives from NFC, together with executives from Amman Mineral, attended the ignition ceremony.

The successful ignition marks the project’s transition into the hot commissioning phase and signifies the official start of production preparation. It also represents another major milestone in NFC’s fulfillment of its commitments under the Indonesia project.
