Beijing, January 30, 2026 — China Nonferrous Metal Industry’s Foreign Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. (NFC) convened its 2026 Annual Work Conference, together with the Sixth Session of the Third Employees’ Congress and the Safety and Environmental Protection Work Conference. The meeting reviewed achievements in 2025, analyzed the current operating environment, and outlined key priorities for 2026, in line with the overall arrangements of China Nonferrous Metal Mining Group (CNMC).

Mr. Liu Yu, Vice President of CNMC as well as Chairman of NFC, delivered a concluding and mobilization address. Mr. Tan Yaoyu, President of NFC, presented the company’s work report. The meeting was chaired by Ma Yindai, Chairman of the Trade Union, who also conveyed the key messages of CNMC’s 2026 work conference. Mr. Liu Jianhui, Vice President of NFC, delivered the safety and environmental protection report.
In 2025, NFC fully implemented the CNMC’s strategic arrangements, strengthened its resource base through reserve expansion and production growth, and enhanced internal momentum through efficiency and quality improvements. The company exceeded its annual operating targets across the board, achieving new progress in high-quality development.
Chairman Liu Yu reviewed the company’s major achievements over the past five years, provided an in-depth analysis of the challenges and gaps currently facing NFC, and called on all employees to further strengthen risk awareness, embrace responsibility, turn pressure into motivation, and advance together through unity and determination.
Looking ahead, Chairman Liu emphasized that 2026 will be a critical year for consolidating the foundations of high-quality development and achieving new breakthroughs in operating performance. NFC will remain closely aligned with the CNMC’s strategic positioning, continue to strengthen its two core capabilities, focus on its core business, deepen reform, adhere to innovation-driven development, reinforce management, and strictly uphold compliance, safety, and environmental protection standards to ensure stable and sound operations.
In his report titled “Focusing on Core Business to Open New Horizons while Advancing Steadily with Strong Accountability”, President Tan Yaoyu summarized the company’s achievements over the past five years, analyzed the external and internal environment, and set out specific tasks and priorities for 2026.
Vice President Liu Jianhui presented the safety and environmental protection report entitled “Setting New Targets and Strengthening the Bottom Line to Ensure a Safe and Stable Start”, reviewing performance in 2025, assessing current risks and challenges, and defining overall objectives for 2026.
During the conference, NFC signed operating performance and safety and environmental responsibility agreements with its invested enterprises, honored recipients of the company’s Fifth Model Worker Awards and Outstanding Teams, released the first editions of the NFC Project Development Handbook and Global Nonferrous Metals Market Opportunity Research, and adopted the resolution of the Sixth Session of the Third Employees’ Congress.
The meeting was held in a hybrid on-site and virtual format. Participants included members of NFC’s leadership team, senior executives, department heads, employee representatives, and management personnel, as well as principal leaders and management teams of invested enterprises.
